Your logo: What's required?
In order to produce the best imprint of your logo as possible, please keep in mind:
Artwork must be black and white only.
• Black lettering on a white background only.
• No colors.
• No gradients or shading.
• No patterns.
Artwork should ideally be created in Adobe Illustrator in vector format as an .EPS file.
• No artwork created in Microsoft® Word.
• No artwork scanned from business cards, letterhead, etc.
• If artwork is created in Photoshop, it should originally be created at 300dpi—not created at a smaller resolution and then enlarged and saved at 300dpi.
Artwork should be crisp and clear.
• No fine lines. They reproduce poorly when the plate is made.
• No closely-spaced lettering or lines. They reproduce poorly when the plate is made.
Artwork should be the exact size of the intended stamp.
• Artwork that is smaller than the intended stamp must be blown up to the size you need, which causes the artwork to be less crisp. This reproduces poorly when the plate is made.
• Artwork that is too large must be reduced to the size you need, which also causes the artwork to be less crisp. This reproduces poorly when the plate is made.
Submitting your logo
Whether you want to send your artwork via email or postal mail, Rio makes it easy.
Submit through email
We accept .EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) files via email.
Be sure to include:
• Your name
•
Your Rio Grande customer number
•
Daytime phone number
•
Dimensions of your logo in inches.
Attach the file to your email and send it to: info@riogrande.com.
